Dare I try again?

Snowcrush - so far I agree with your assessment. ^_^

Joe - yep - BILLY is beautiful all over. Speakinawhich - love your new pic, but then I loved the old one, too. ^_^

Gawpo - Your Jewish mother was one canny lady. But what about your Sicilian one?

So did the name make the man, or was your Jeweish mother just highly perceptive?

My Goy father named me, but I have as yet to become an Ethiopian queen. Go figure. *shrug*

You'd get on well with my sis, the cunning linguist (no, realli!)

I hear the French do some interesting things with their lingual appendages, but I hear they do unnacceptable things with snails, as well, so I'm not sure I trust them. ^_^

Tshsmom - get OUT! Wicked is on my "want to read it" list, too! A bunch of us were discussing it at TKD yesterday morning, and have been over the last week or so. One dad said it was like a "train wreck" that he just had to keep reading, LOL!

Egan - Heh! Good point. :-P Okay, I'll amend that to "more devoid of substance than usual."

Logo - who needs carbs? (unless it's shortly before class) Yay Fluff!! Fluff! Fluff! you're the Stuff. . . er. . . I was never a cheerleader so I can't pull this off. :-P

TG - I guess it must. Weird, isn't it? GM is into warlike books and things with twisty turny passages all the same (ever play Zork?) He likes Tom Clancyish stuff. Right now he's reading Ward Carroll's "Punk's _____" series. Generally he goes for "military thrillers and Linux books" LOL! Though he LOVED Ender's Game. I think that's the only sci-fi I've gotten him to read. OH - I did get him to read H2G2 of course. ^_^ He's never been a big sci-fi dude. I'm trying so hard to get him to read Dune. I think he'd love them seeing as they're more political than sci-fi. I did FINALLY get some other peeps to read those after YEARS of no one taking me up on it.

Literature is overrated. Books, rock. Mark Twain put it best when he said something to the effect that Lit is the stuff everyone knows they're supposed to have read, but no one has actually gotten around to reading. ^_^Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10869574150060699562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8664692.post-1168653749883626572007-01-12T21:02:00.000-05:002007-01-12T21:02:00.000-05:00We're all embedding ourselves into literature...ok...We're all embedding ourselves into literature...ok, books.

Interesting - must be the season. But not everyone knows that it is referred to as a palindromaticalistic name since it also means Schweitzer in Gawpodelarian. I have always said that language is funny how it occasionally finds itself in other tongues. Why, just look at what the French do with theirs.Jacobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13649218320462858549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8664692.post-1168627808210036032007-01-12T13:50:00.000-05:002007-01-12T13:50:00.000-05:00So you're saying that Billy is beautiful on the in...So you're saying that Billy is beautiful on the inside too - sigh - you know where to find us when the infatuation calms down...Joe Jubinvillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09489419756833657839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8664692.post-1168620672590839442007-01-12T11:51:00.000-05:002007-01-12T11:51:00.000-05:00Dragonfly in Amber isn't as good as the first book...Dragonfly in Amber isn't as good as the first book, but it's OK. Did you know that Gawpo means "punnster" in Sweitzerdelarian?

Pete - I hate it when that happens. But never fear. I know I can always count on you for a good pun, too. Your reputation is undiminished.

Uh, I think I only have 1-3. What the hell is #9 doing in that list? I hadn't scrolled down that far, and I totally thought you were making that up. ^_^

Snavvy - I will do my best to serve you a delectable buffet of meaningless fluff. ^_^

Arm - you did?
