While tonight's title could pertain to the current snowstorm we're having, it's also the title of my friend Frank's film. :) Remember when I got to be an extra? (last half or so of the post, but it's long and rambling, so you needn't bother if you're not up to it ^_^ ) Well here's the trailer. I actually spotted myself in there twice, but only very briefly, and only because I knew where to look. ^_^

How exciting!! I couldn't find you. But since I only know what your foot looks like, I'm not too surprised...
That looks like a pretty funny movie. I mockumentary style stuff.
Jer famous, jer famous!!
Good job on being an extra, you were perfect, extra without being excessive, a delicate balance and one you managed skillfully.
:P
Fun!
Amanda - It's so brief that even if you knew what I looked like it wouldn't help. There's the briefest flash of me at 15 seconds to go, under the word "CENTER" on the wall, at the far left. :) I'm taking my 15 mins of fame just a few milliseconds at a time in order to make it last. ^_^
Logo - You crack me up, Girl. ^_^ You should write film reviews. Or at least join the TCM book review crew. ^_^
Dammit, my comment was eaten by Blogger and I said something totally endearing.
Candace, I saw you in the clip. You look fantastic as you're fighting off a grin. You look so professional and sexy. Thanks for sharing this with us. Any chance you can get me an acting gig?
This movie looks great. When does it come out? I couldn't find a release date for it online.
You always say something endearing, Egan, though this time I think you're stretching it a bit much. ^_^
As for the acting gig, the kids and I are currently filming a series of short, instructional biology films. I figure this will help to make everything they're learning more memorable since they have to help with the script, props, special effects, editing, and all that good stuff. Would you like to contribute? Hmmmm. I bet you could email me something to insert. ^_^ I hope to YouTube this first one when it's done. I think we got all the footage we needed today, but there's more to come. :)
I don't know when it comes out. Frank and Frank took it to Sundance to show some people (not as an entry but as a publicity/networking sort of thing) and are entering it in the WI film fest and Tribeca in hopes that someone will pick it up for distribution. Know anyone in film distribution?
dang it! It keeps pausing half way through, so I didn't get a chance to see your big debut! oh well...
Bloggers: Documenting Mockers. Coming to a theater near you. (We'll market it in the UK by spelling theater their way. It'll be smashing.)
Egan, Logo told me today that she lost a biggie trying to post it to my site. Very disappointing. Cindra will liberate me to Typepad on Friday.
Damn, try as I might I still can't find you. All I see is this smokin' hot tall chick with her face buried in the female actor's bangs. Heh-heh, Heh-heh, I said bangs....
Slade - that sucks! Maybe it will work later. :-P
Gawpo - heh heh! ^_^ (in my best Guiness voice) BRILLIANT!
Poor Logo. That sucks. Grrrrr!
You must not have found me. ^_^
Candace, I thought your performance was riveting. I can't move. Have you been nominated for anything? Your restraint was, well,as Gapwo and Egan (love their Sunday morning show) suggested "stylish and compelling."
^_^ Yes, I think I'm in the running for the Extra's Guild's Prestigious "Wallflower" award. The criteria are rigorous: "to be observed while standing in the backround of any scene -- no making noise, no falling down, no rapid eyeblinks, and by no means may there be glancing toward the camera." The winner gets a lottery entrance into another lottery for an extra role in an upcoming film in which they will be allowed to make one backround noise (to include cough, clearing of throat, sniff, or sigh - sneezing is right out) ^_^
I think you look tremendous in the part I saw. I can see you're fighting off the grins.
I'd be happy to give my body of work a shot in some biology gig.
Egan - I was prolly talking to the Great White himself. He was a funny guy. :) I can't remember for sure. At one point he got in trouble for accidentally looking at the camera, so it was all jokes about looking that way after that. ^_^
Yay - nothing like giving your body for science. :)
Seriously woman, you looked so great in your professional outfit. Raarr!
Well, thank you, Darlin' ^_^ It's a skirt and top I cobbled together at the resale shop the day before for the purpose. Oh, and my SIL's shoes. ^_^ I'm tall enough without heels. I'm surprised my head made it into the shot. ;)
Yes, I was going to say you looked nice and regal too. You're definitely a tall woman. Now leave me alone as I view the clip again.
You so crack me up! :) And, no, I won't leave you alone. Turnabout is for--er fair play.
