That's what my friend wrote in the email when he sent along this vid. You have to watch to the end to get it. I felt like I had my Eyes Wide Shut.
In other news, I've been reading books and and watching flicks. We watched The Last Mimsy with the kids the other night. We almost didn't make it much past the beginning, the boy was such a brat, but we stuck it out. It was cute, other than Bratley being such a little jerk which, honestly, was unnecesary.
MuNKi and I watched The Last Time and found it very interesting. It's nice to watch one you don't figure out right at the start these days.
I read Honey Bea and enjoyed it very much, and now I'm reading Walking The Labyrinth which, in spite of the title, is not one of those how-to books.
On Sunday we scored BIG at the library book free-for-all. Michael, I seem to remember promising you a "mystery" book (not an actual mystery book) so if you want it, email me your addy, or the addy of someone you'd like to set up. ;-) Mine is milkmaidenster at gmail dot com. BG (my friend Boobies Galore) helped me pick it out. It's a winner, I think.
We actually descended on the library en masse with 2 other TKD families (in the TKD bus no less, which earned us some pretty strange looks) and then went on to the orchard to pick apples and to repsectively devour and quaff our combined body weights in doughnuts and cider. I've been in a sugar coma since then.

SO that's what BG means. How the heck did I miss that???????
:D
Oh yeah, email's on the way.
Oh yeah, almost forgot:
FIRST!!!
I swear I'm done now!
Hat trick! ^_^
Yeah, it's a kind of Bond-esque name, isn't it? OK, I'll check my email and dig that book outta my pile. :)
That would be a great Bond Name...as would hat trick ;-)
I'm happy you watched the Last Mimzy. Boys are brats at that age, trust me. I'm very glad you stuck it out. Did you use the following incentive: "Egan loved this movie"? I guess I owe you a movie now.
I'm floundering here....you typed the word "MuNKi", but didn't do any funny links.
I haven't seen Last Mimzy yet...we suspended our Netflix to save some moolah, so now I'm going through movie withdrawals.
I'm glad you found some sweet loot at the library sale! I can't wait for ours!
Michael - Hat Trick is a great Bond name. I'm going to have to use that next time I need a code name for someone. ^_^
Egan - You've owed me a movie for quite some time. Can you say "The Dreamers"? They don't all have to be brats. I have a problem with that kind of crap in movies, because it's unacceptable behaviour being painted as "normal." Fishy would be in deep shit if he ever acted like that. I think I heard someone use the term "Mimsy" in a different context yesterday and now I can't remeber if I really did, or if it was just a dream. I had some pretty weird dreams last night, so maybe it was.
When are you going to watch Boondock Saints? Don't make Amanda and me come over there. She's a TKDer now, too, you know. ^_^
Manda - OMG, how could I forget? I've fixed it now. Thank you. ^_^
The library is an AWESOME place to get free DVDs. If yours is like ours, you can put a hold on any of the stuff in the system and have it sent to your library. Some of our libraries are poopy about DVDs though, and make you go there to get them.
I got so many books I can't even list them here, LOL! OMG free day rocks! ^_^
I think all of us bloggers need codenames!!!
That was really, really fun, that vid. Can't wait to share it with hubby.
SO jealous of the library book free for all...but am immersed in an excellent book now so the jealousy won't really set in fully till I am jonesin for a new read...
Your life sounds so fun. I want to be your neighbor. Then I might have the balls to homeschool.
It's called entertainment Candace. How many young boys do you know? Seriously, that kid's character wasn't out of line at all. This is what confounds me about you.
Michael - Do the codenames come with special powers?
Cindra - Wasn't that enlightening? What are you reading right now? Aw, you don't need balls to homeschool. Well, I haven't got any anyway. ^_^
Egan - it's hard to be entertained when you're cringing through everything one character says or does because your kids are watching. Wait 'til that parental movie-filter kicks in. Trust me. :-P I know a lot of young boys ( I teach a ton of them, remember) but fortunately none of them act like that. At least not around me. ^_^ I guess I'll have to assume you're kidding when you say that kid's behaviour is normal. At least I hope so. :)
PS - It was still a cute movie. I just wish they could have done without the unnecesary child stereotyping.
Yes, special powers is a very good idea. Bwhahahahahahaha. What will your special power be? Dare I even ask? ;-)
Oho! That is a very, very good question. This is assuming that I don't have to chose from something already in my arsenal. Hmmmmm. . . ;-)
Ok. I'm pissed. I have to go back to the academy and take the "paid observer" course again. I can't believe I missed it. Totally. Including the red backed cards. Now that's bad.
What's so amazing about the video?
Choo haff to vatch eet.
OOps, Gawpo - I missed ya!
GAWPOOOOOOoooooo!~!!!!!!
There, now you know I still love you. :)
INCLUDING the red-backed cards? OK, you were watching in braille, weren't you? ^_^
"Paid Observer" Gawpo? Please elaborate! I could get paid for watching stuff? Like on YouTube? Duuuuuuuuude!
Oh no, I didn't miss the red-backed cards. That was the only thing I actually DID see.
I am sending the vid to some cohorts to see how well they will do.
Pretty intresting, isn't it? They have more at their site, I guess.
I did watch it fool.
So did you catch any of it, or have to wait for the end. Fool. ^_^
