Seattle seattle seattle Seattle.

noun - a being that enjoys earthquakes.

verb - to force someone into an uncompromising position.

Blogers from Seattle, Washington who are intimidated by other bloggers in their community also happen to intimidate other bloggers in their community.

** sometimes Tall Chick, you're too wise.

Is Schrodinger's Monkey dead or alive?

Been busy...but thanks for the response on the martial arts! Yay!

Holy crap! An English teacher's dream come true? Or, a nightmare. I can't tell which.

The explanation of this is so deep that I almost fear my mind blowing up while trying to comprehend it.

Ok, I thought you'd lost it there for a minute. That's very cool. Thank you.

Cindra - I've been busy, too. Crazy busy, but good busy.:) Mollusc told me about that buffalo thing and had to convince me it was real. ^_^

That one thing is awesome. ;-)

NO rush on the books. :)

Kitkat - a liguist's wet dream, I think. ^_^

Michael - I had some of that going on, too. OK, a lot. But I finally got my brain wrapped around it. After about the 4th Buffalo, the word tends to lose all meaning. ^_^

TG - It is definitely cool, but that doesn't necessarily mean I HAVEN'T lost my mind. ^_^

OK, try inserting Madison for Buffalo, and then people for the noun "buffalo" and "intimidate" for the verb "buffalo."

Madison people Madison people intimidate intimidate Madison people.

For me it helps to break it up:

Madison people Madison People intimidate intimidate Madison people

What it boils down to is that Madison people whom Madison people intimidate, in turn intimidate other Madison people.

Or maybe you were messing with me to see how I'd try to explain. ^_^

MuNKi got a cookbook last night that is going to make you green. I shall blog it after I make 6,000 more cookies. . .

Come to think of it, you may already own this one. It's the King Arthur's Flour Cookie Companion. O. M. G.

Yeah...that makes my head hurt, Candace!! I"m sure if I weren't all crabby and tired, all of that would make perfect sense.

OMG....King Arthur's!! I drool over that book every time I go into B&N!!

I am in love with that cookbook! I bought it for my friend for her birthday, but still haven't bought it for myself.

I'm a chef with a degree in Sociology. Chomsky is a god. I'm trying to come up with a Chomsky recipe. Any suggestions? Buffalo burgers, perhaps?

Arm - BUY IT!!!

Tori - BUY IT!!!

Seriously, you both will LOVE it and you should treat yourselves. I have a batch of old-Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies in the oven right now. Yesterday I did peanut-butter stuffed chocolate, and more sugar cookies.

Jaichan - Chomsky! When I was a (paid) guinea pic for speech pathology at the U, that was one thing I had to say while they tracked my tongue with micro X rays. Buffalo burgers! ^_^ How about Linguistic Lasagne? It would be made with letter-shaped pasta instead of the traditional noodles. ^_^ Or a Wordorf Salad (no idea what goes into that ^_^)

I'll get started and then post it on my blog! Now that I'm on the path of becoming a research chef, it should be a piece of cake. Hmmm... Chomsky Chocolate Cake?
