Happy, Sneezy, Giggly and Sticky

My children are using the Xyron machine (sticker maker) to adhere "H"s to each other's foreheads.

Only the true geeks will appreciate the significance of this. ^_^

I have a real post coming. Honest.

Does it make me a true geek if I know what you're talking about but have never watched that series? (I have a friend who love TRD)

Have a wonderful Christmas and Happy new Year!!!

As I've told you before, I love that show. I'm going to have the Arnold Rimmer song in my head for the rest of the day.

If you're in trouble he will save the day
He's brave and he's fearless come what may
Without him the mission would go astray
He's Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer

Without him life would be much grimmer
He's handsome, trim, and no-one slimmer
He will never need a zimmer
He's Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer

More reliable than a garden trimmer
He's never been mistaken for Yul Brynner
He's not bald, and his head doesn't glimmer

Master of the wit and the repartee
His command of space directives is uncanny
How come he's such a genius? Don't ask me!
Ask Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer

He's also a fantastic swimmer
And if you play your cards right
Then he just might come round for dinner
He's Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer

No rhymes left now apart from quimmer
He'd better fade us out before we get to schlimmer
Fade out you stupid plimmer

The Xyron machine? I thought that's what Dr. Who used to transport himself back in.....uh...oh, that's right. That was the Transporter. Sorry. Never mind.

Hey! I saw my first Ikea up in Portland. I thought of you and nearly used the picturer to get a shot of my thought of you.

heh, heh, Xyron machine, Gawpo's right it does sound science fictionish.
Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas!

Egan - Apparently! :)

I'm home now, so yeah, 2008.

Slade - It's from Red Dwarf, a very goofy British Science FIction show. I actually read the books before I knew there was a show. I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. ^_^

Gawpo - Well, the Xyron is a multi-purpose machine. It does, in fact, enable me to travel in relative dimensions (or relative dementia) in time and space, but it also makes stickers and cooks a mean baked potato. ^_^

Claire - I have to wonder who came up with the name. It sounds a bit like a Japanese monster, too.

We had a great Christmas visiting family, thanks. We're home safe and sound just ahead of the snowstorm. Whew!
