Blackbelt testing tomorrow, 10am, be there.
This is a sucky time for us, since carb loading should be finished 2 hours before start time, which means 8am, which means we have to start eating before that, which means we have to get up and make the food before that. . .

We are cautiously optimistic that it may go until only 3 or 4 pm. We shall see. We have one guy testing for 1st degree, and the rest of us are "check" testing toward 2nd degree. One guy is only 6 mos away if all goes well tomorrow, but the rest of us are 2 yrs out and more. It will be exhausting, but the camaraderie is good.
My brain doesn't have room for anything else right now.

GOOD LUCK!!!!
Can't wait to hear about it! Seriously, I'm all kinds of curious about what happens at a BB testing. I watched a testing right after getting prego, but it was for juniors and other lower belts. I would love to see a BB test.
Thank you! :) It's a lotta lotta kicking, plus all the forms, blocking sets, self-defense and one-step sparring, plus oral Qs. Plus a lot of kicking. Did I mention the kicking? :-P
It went well, thanks! :) It was only 5.5 hours this time, but it was still exhausting. I must have been getting dehydrated because at the end, when we put on our sparring gear, my inner thighs and quads started cramping. Ugh. But we all survived. :) I dreamed off and on last night that we were still testing. :-P
On to the next hurdle! ;)
Wow girl, can't wait to hear about it.
I'm so gald to read that it went well! I hope you are resting/recovering well!
My daughter did a triathlon on Saturday and I was so nervous for her and did so much running around trying to get pictures of her that I feel like I got a workout just from that!
How did it go??
