Some amazing person out there has put Thomas the Tank Engine bits to Young Ones audio. Brilliant!
I know I said I was going to do a real post the other day, but apparently I lied. I'm still cruisin' on the Reading Rainbow, so between that and flaky net connections (probably my (bent) wireless card) there's not a whole lotta postin' goin' on. ^_^

Well I guess this gives me an excuse for no gibberish posting. I did make a recording on my cell phone though. Are you ready?
Let's have some action, Cap'n!!
Are you mailing me your cell phone so I can hear it?
Funny, I could swear there was going to be some sort of content on this blog. . .
Um... no. I will post it on my site tomorrow. I have many forms of gibberish. Tomorrow's is definitely more of the Asian language variety.
Chall Tick, that was a cute snippet, but you can totally tell it was dubbed.
And Egan----I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THE GIBBERISH.
Efo - Pot, meet Kettle. ^_^
♪ Tomorrow, tomorrow, it's always tomorrow; it's always a day a-waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy!♪
Ho yea! Lay jeng ngo fai lok!
Gawpo - No way, man! You can totally almost see his lips moving if you squint your eyes just right. And drink a vat of wine.
What shall we do to Egan if he falls through? Making us wait like this only builds suspense and allows our expectations to rise higher than perhaps they should.
My word verif looks a bit rude: fscuncky
Candace, I have the gibberish on my phone. Odeo wasn't cooperating last night so I will make a recording and send it to you via snail mail. Cassette recordings work for you?
Once again, I am unable to see videos at work because they have banned You Tube & other forms of video sharing sites.
How's the Reading Rainbow cruise going? Maybe that's why I haven't really had much posting going on at my place either - I've been reading non-stop lately!
Efo - What's a cassette recording?
I can wait for the blogpost. It will still be faster than snail mail. :-P
Arm - That totally sucks!
My cruise is going swimmingly! I'm still reading Dragonfly in Amber and the Historian. I'm about 1/2 way through the first and 1/3 through the second. (both are long!) Good reads, both. I'm also reading Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah to preview it for Mollusc.
Yep, my blogging is definitely suffering. But that's probably a good thing. :)
Enjoy the reading, I'm enjoying the posts, it's my afternoon entertainment:-)
now that is some funny stuff! Hope your computer gets well soon
I'm glad you still take me seriously Tall One.
Not a cat in sight.
Snow - thanks! It's a great trip so far. :)
Slade - thank you. It's behaving much better today. Maybe it's not my card after all. . .
Egan - Dammit. sigh
I thought about playing it cool, like I knew all that, but I suck at cool. ^_^
Toby - a ha! Pictures are waiting in the wings. ^_^
Ah, Thomas. Ah, the Young Ones. Two subversive classics for the price of one., C.
Splendid.
Winters - do you know they've changed Thomas for the US to make it more PC? :-P For example, we don't have The Fat Controller, we have Sir Topham Hatt. So the whole "my doctor says I shouldn't" stuff kind of gets lost on people here.
They've not changed The Young Ones though, because, really, how could you possibly make that PC? ^_^
