I have gotten 5 spams since turning off word verification. :-P They're all from film schools. ^_^
Random stuff:
I started a poetry blog. Still trepidatious about sharing poetry, but now I have.
I got a new cookbook.
On Wednesday I finished Dragonfly in Amber, which REALLY picked up toward the end, and then I had to dash to the library 15 mins before closing and grab Voyager (the next in the Outlander series.)
I finished The Shakespeare Code and submitted my review.
I watched The Heart of Me. I don't really recommend it unless you're in the mood for something depressing with a slightly uplifting ending.
I learned that a darling little boy I sometimes teach at TKD has most likely come out of remission from Leukemia. If you are the praying or sending positive thoughts into the cosmos type, please do so for Ryan.

Candace, I hope for the best regarding Ryan. That can't be easy for him or his family. Have a great weekend.
Candace, I will definitely include Ryan in my thoughts. Cancer does suck.
I will also be looking out for your review.
Thank you both. This sucks bigtime.
I'm sure it does suck bigtime, but much can be gained from this event. It doesn't have to be viewed as a negative.
Sorry to hear about Ryan. Crap.
What's the cookbook like?
Egan - you're right. So far the lesson is "never forget to love your babies as much as you possibly can."
TG - He beat it once, so I'm hoping he'll do it again.
The cookbook is very cool as long as one isn't put off by Wiccan droplets of custom/wisdom. It is jam-packed with traditional, old recipes; new stuff; and foods for every occasion from all over the world. There's even a recipe for Absinthe. O_O I'm loving this! I'll try to post about stuff I make from it. :)
Tomorrow I am supposed to fly a boy who, at 12, is asking for an airplane ride as one of his last wishes. Breaks my heart. I will add Ryan to the positive thought roster.
Oh crap, Gawpo. :-(
I will add him to my roster.
