Deadlines

You know what Douglas Adams said: "I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by."

I'm trying to make two deadlines for ERWA, so if you see me here or at your own blogs, please chase me off with a stick. ^_^

In lieu of today's post, I present the infinitely more entertaining Mr. Adams himself. If you watch the whole thing, you'll get to hear the infamous biscuit/cookie story.

Splendid to see Mr Adams in fine form, C. And if I see that you have replied to this comment today, I shall be chastising you in no uncertain terms.

And yet I can't help hoping you will...

While looking for this I discovered that I can find quite a few words from the Master on YouTube.

Oh, dear. Here I go replying. I'm ready for my spanking, Sir. ^_^

No, no! Pick me. I'LL do the spanking, thanks.

That was so entertaining! Tom sat through the whole story with me.

Now, sistah...you get back at it. No response. I won't take it personally.

I know how much you like spankings...but...back to work.

Oh, yes, please! (MuNKi agrees!) Actually, could we have a free for all? Woo hoo!

Glad you and Tom liked it. Great story, isn't it?

I've actually gotten about 1,700 words in this evening. Yay! But I probably still need a spanking. ^_^

Heh, when you've got the punchline, the galaxy is your oyster.

I shall be merciful on this occasion C, though I have prepared the comfy chair and the strawberry jam should there be any transgressions in the future...

BTW, I have been reading "Small Gods" by Mr Pratchett. I'm sure you know it. And what a brilliantly entertaining read it is!

I shall now get back to patting my cat with one hand, and stroking the seat of the comfy chair with the other...

Joe - that is a pearl of wisdom indeed. ^_^

Winters - Not the comfy chair!!

I have that book and haven't read it yet. :-P (I've got a bunch in the queue in front of it.) I may have to break down and jump it to the front of the line. As soon as I finish the 2 I'm halfway through right now.

Patting and stroking - sounds like you have a lovely evening lined up. ^_^
