Do You Read Me?

Everywhere I go it seems that blogs are shutting down. 10-4, Roger Doger, I copy. Over.

EDIT: Er, that title isn't referring to me, personally, LOL! I was just using radio lingo in reference to the fact that I feel like I'm receiving a message from "out there." (you know - cuckoo land ;-) ) I'm not berating anyone for lack of comments or anything. ^_^

I agree--there was a time when all of my close friends all had blogs, and now I'm the lone blogger. Is blogging dead? I don't think mine will ever shut down because it's the only thing that resembles a journal, only it's a journal I'm not embarrassed about and won't throw away.

I am short on time at the moment due to SWMBO's swollen appendage. Definitely cramps both of our styles.

Efo - Well, it WAS kind of a blend of genres, wasn't it? ^_^

Violet - Youze been surfing LOLCats too much. >^_^< I'm not sure it's giving up so much as succumbing to the Universe. ^_^

Kitkat - Maybe it was a fad. I think we all go in cycles, though. Some stop while others are starting up.

TG - I hear you on that one! I was wondering, though, if the universe was sending me a message, because I know a bunch of folks who have shut down or are thinking about it. Additionally, a lot of blogs I've been going to check out for the first time have just shut down in the last week or so. Weird, eh?

I've just been so busy getting sorted at school I haven't had much time to blog.

I promise I'll be a better blogger. I miss the humble Wedding Cake and Toothache...

It's facebook that's the culprit, C. It's freakin' facebook.

Like a blog without the "blogging" bit. Though pirates and scrabble are fun). ;)

Jaichan - That's the thing. I find I have more to do, too, somehow. I do go through cycles, though, where I blog less frequently.

Winters - You're right. Bloody facebook. So I drew on your wall, and then I found out you didn't have one. Pirates and scrabble are, indeed, fun. Especially when they work. :-P

Damn that Facebook Scrabble addiction.

I've recently taken the the life over blogging thing. Though I do miss it. My recent gargantuan drop in comments at my blog made me realize just how far from the blogging lifestyle I have strayed...

Egan - yes, damn it. And I just found out that I somehow lost 2 games. Did someone force a lose on my when I sat idle too long, or did I lose legitimately? I can't check because the link to my games is BROKEN!! Argh.

Michael - I have your books. I am a bad sender of books. They're in a padded envelope in my kitchen. :-P

Yeah, life over blogging is kinda happening here. It would be nice to be able to strike a deent balance.

Michael C said...

Oh yeah, I forgot about the books. HEY WEREN'T YOU SENDING ME BOOKs????
;-)

We should all just have a blogging reunion (which would be more like a union since we have all never met) and let that make up for our lapse in blogging...although that would take cash and time. Never mind.

It would be lovely to have a reunion. Would it be a "preunion" then? But, yeah, time and money. D'oh!
