Interactive Post Day

While the pancake batter is resting, I've decided to start a post that I will come back and update throughout the day á la Egan. Theoretically.

Still trying to get back on the Flylady wagon. Today's FLY Zone: The Kitchen

On the docket today: Science, Math, Spelling for Go, Art, Writing assignment for Slug , Alphaphonics for Prawn, FLYing, and Monday, Monday, Monday! Which here means 2 things: 1) Monday the house and 2) undisclosed ;o) Oh and repotting the tomatoes (still alive!!!) and planting a few more seeds. I don't think that's gonna happen.

Happy CP Day, John! I think it's been 19 years, right? Doesn't seem like nearly that long!! Monday, Monday, Monday! >:-} Plan on naked sparring after class and sparring. No cup. Remind me I have an evil plan when you get home, please, if you make it before I have to go teach. Otherwise, remind me when I come home before we go to class. (you know me - mind like a pair of mesh panties)

Ah, the pancakes are done resting. Thus begins the day's work. Fortunately I had a very loafy morning, LOL!

Today's skate-mopping soundtrack: Hit In America, Isolation (Beat Crusaders - see below)

Thought for the day: everything you do today counts.

Thanks, Jay! And thanks for stopping by! :o)

I like this idea for blogging. Hmmm, it kind of sounds familiar. Pancakes good, bruises on body not so good.

Oh, please don't say ~everything~ I do today counts. I managed to ruin 4 trays of potato croquettes an hour before lunch service. Not entirely my fault, but enough of my fault to make me look bad in the eyes of the nifty Butchery instructor. Boo. I did manage to save the day, but I'm sure he's still going to suggest I pin my oven mitts to my chef jacket.

Egan - did I credit you with this? If not, I meant to, LOL!

Janice - D'oh! I hate days like that. On the plus side, it counts for something since you'll not do it again. That will come in handy when ( HOT celeb of your choice) comes to the restaurant and asks, "Who made these fabulous croquettes?" Pin them to your jacket, LOL!! :-D

You didn't credit me, but at least your post was completed. My Europe post still isn't done. I moved along though. Maybe I will finish it right now.

Happy Monday, but surely pancakes are a Shrove Tuesday thing.

Candace said...

Egan -I've credited you now. :o) Oh - I must read your next Euro installment. :o)

TG - Thanks! Well, today it was Daylight Savings Monday. Surely that calls for pancakes?

That darn Euro post tackled me to the ground. I lost control of that sucker. I normally want to share every single detail, but was torn between highlights and first impressions of Europe. It's had been two years since our last trip. Maybe I can focus on that trip instead.

Candace said...

LOL! Uh oh! He's DOWN! And - oooooooooh! The Euro Trip is STOMPING on his FACE! Oh, no!!! Folks, this is not looking pretty. Euro is up on the ropes. Euro is - NO EGAN!!! Roll the OTHER WAY!!!! Oooohhhhh! Egan? Egan? Open your eyes, Egan. OK, Egan look at me. What's your name, son? No, what's your name? What? No, not Speedo™. All right, you just lie still while the boys with the stretcher come.

Candace said...

After reading your post from today, I realise that the above could never have happened. You would surely have kicked Euro's lily white ass!

Faltenin said...

I've got Candy hooked ;o)

Oh, and Beck is the dog's name...

Candace said...

You know it, Fal! :-)

LOL! Named after the singer, perhaps? So what, exactly, does Chop refer to? I still have images of chop shops with sleazy guys converting stolen cars into non-recognisable vehicles. Though considering it's anime, it could be a hi YAH! sort of chop, LOL! Do they wear loose socks? Makes great skate-mopping music, btw. Tomorrow I shall try it out for jumproping and kicking the bag music.

After talking Shaun of the Dead with you, I realised that it wasn't you I'd discussed the movie with before, LOL! So if my reference to re-borrowing the flick seemed odd, that's why. I was telling someone else that a friend had lent it to me and I'd never watched it. I thought it was some real horror film. *snort* Now I want to see it. :-) With someone named Greta. While eating Peeps™ LOL!

BTW y'all can thank Egan for showing me that nifty little trademark trick. Thanks, Egan. It's like a sickness.

Candy™ out.

Gasp! Egan is trying to seduce my Candy!!!

[note to self: improve quality of posts, quick]

Does this mean you're going to give us the money shot? :-D

Or have a run-off with Egan? That makes me exhausted just thinking about it. :-P

What's with all this Fal activity here? Huh? You stealing my Fal, girlfriend? Cuz, you can't have all the cute bloggers. It's just not fair! *stamps foot* NOT FAIR, I say.

Congrats on the tomatoes still living!

Yes, my sweet Fal...what about the money shot? I can promise aaaall kinds of lascivious things (I KNOW! Big word for me!) for that money shot. I got research in my head, I tell you. Research! (I just realized...you're my 3rd proposition in 7 days! Wow. I amaze myself. I'm such a blog tart.)

Jay said...

Mmm pancakes. The rest of the stuff sounds too much like work, but pancakes good.

Candace said...

Back off blog tart! I didn't see your name tattooed on his fine butt! ;-) Yikes, Jenna! WHat are you gonna do if they all show up at once. Never mind. Don't answe that. Let me just put myself in your shoes for a moment. Mmmmmm. . . (happy place)

Jay, the pancakes were yummy! But I still have buttermilk to use up. :-P

Jenna Howard said...

Yes. I'd have Fal, a fireman and...

What a smorgasbord that would!!

Ooh delish. I should go tidy up just in case I have company.

Sashays away (I'm in a sashaying mood)
