Laze, Lazier, Frickin' Laser Beams

I'm so lazy. That's why holidays were invented. Plus, it's 3:25 am, I'm in bed and therefore unable to post pics yet again. If you hate it, blame Egan. He put the whole Dune thing into my head. I suppose the montage is a lot more poignant if you know what the hell is going on, but I just love this song. MuNKi does, too, even though it's entirely in Fremen, which we all know is not nearly as geeky as a song in Klingon would be. ^_^

OK, this is just for my own personal gratification. TG, this (the Children of Dune miniseries) is where I first discovered the lovely James McAvoy. ^_^

Next time my insomnia hits, I'm checking your blog!!!!!

Wow, all I can think of is how much sand that is. Although their long pants and shirts should help deflect most of it. I guess when you live in sand you learn to adapt.

I have no idea where that tangent just came from...sorry.

I'm with Michael on the insomnia bit. Clips of Dune are better than sleeping pills.

Ooh, I like the Dune song. Well, OK, the Dune singer. See, when a voice just oozes sex like hers does, it doesn't matter whether it's in English, Fremen, or Vaporator.

Michael - That is a ton of sand. Well, many tons, I'm sure. In the story, they actually wear "stillsuits" to reclaim their bodies' water. And then they drink it. Yum. ^_^

Egan - Why don't you come over here and say that? ^_^

MuNKi - I never did send you that link. I will. If I don't, you can tie me down and make me pay. Hmmm. Maybe I won't send it to you. . .

Well, next time I'm thirsty and drinking my PUR filtered water or my $1.50 bottled tap water, I'll remember just how lucky I am!!!

Is that a threat or a promise yo?

Michael - Or your $5 racetrack lemonade. Oh yeah!

Egan - Yes.

MMMMMM, now I crave that super expensive lemonade. Maybe the price is why it tastes so much better??

You might be on to something there. If it costs that much, you HAVE to enjoy it. ^_^
