Overheard

John overheard the kidlets discussing something from a Harry Potter book (most likely some sort of creature from one of the peripheral books) and saying how tiny it was. Sluggie (8) said "It's as tiny as Mama's panties."

At that point dh cheered loudly.

Nyuck nyuck! I've set a new standard in "tiny." :o)

hahaha - certainly better than those awful "yo mama's ass is so big..." jokes kids used to crack!

BTW, my mind finally accepted to move to the next line of the song that's been driving me nuts!

"So if you want my address it’s number one at the end of the bar
Where I sit with the broken angels clutching at straws and nursing our scars
Blame it on me, blame it on me
Sugar mice in the rain"

(Marillion)

Oh my. Just how small are your underpants??

And I agree--it is better than saying "it's as BIG as mama's panties!"

LOL! They were referencing the Hello Kitty G-strings linked in the post below. They're just a triangle of fabric with elastic to hold it in place, basically.
I totally agree that this is waaaay better than the "as big as" or "your mama's ass is soooo big. . ."

BTW Faltenin, did you mean that as a pun when you said "crack?" LOL! I'm going to look up that song and see if I recognise the tune. I don't remember the words. Aren't you glad you figured it out? Stuff like that drives me NUTS!!

I didn't have time to scroll down and take a look at the other post----will read it now. I must have more info on said underpants. That, and I see that it was the survey from my blog...

Marillion, are those your lyrics? They're very, very beautiful and cool. Sugar mice in the rain - I love that.

Oops, sorry, color me uninformed - just found Marillion :) Oh well, you get credit anyway. I'm feeling generous today. Have to do SOMEthing to make up for the fact that Candy's underpants are apparently smaller than mine. When I bother wearing any.

Yeah, that was a fun survey, Kitkat.:o) So I totally ripped it off.

OK, She-Ra, I really am going to make you some, honest. The Linux box is kind of monopolizing the sewing table, but I can scooch it over. When you coming to visit? I'll make you some this weekend if you give me a date. :o)

Oooh racy girl, I just caught that "when I bother wearing any." LOL! Have you taken to going commando? Come over to Marcus's blog (For Prefect in my sidebar)and help Kitkat and me tease him about blue lights. *evil grin* Muahahaha!!!

That is the funniest, weirdest thing I have ever heard.
